Exploring the identity and pride of a historic California town that flourished into a thriving hub for technology.

This design was created for the Screenprint Showdown, a competitive art event that celebrated the city of San Jose and is a conceptual and possible additional visual design asset to join the existing City of San Jose logo.

The goal was to create a banner to be displayed throughout the city of San Jose, while utilizing elements from the original sun logo.
