“This special event will bring together members of our community to recognize their tireless advocacy to repeal San
José’s antiquated and discriminatory prohibition of cruising. Celebrating the San Jose City Council’s unanimous
decision to repeal the ban, open up opportunities to promote street safety, and help to create a more equitable city,
the free public event will include lowrider vehicles parked on E. Santa Clara Street, 4th Street, 6th Street, within San
Jose City Hall Plaza, as well as music and food.”
